ABOUT THE PROJECT
A sticker series that reinterprets Bengal’s traditional Alpona motifs in a modern, playful digital style, bringing cultural patterns into everyday use.
BRIEF
Illustrate a series of five stickers by combining natural forms with the five elements Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space. Use Indian folk art styles to create expressive, decorative designs that show the connection between nature and elements.
INSIGHT
Inspired by Alpona art, a traditional Bengali folk style known for flowing lines, freehand patterns, and auspicious motifs. Its organic shapes and decorative charm make it perfect for playful, meaningful, and culturally rich stickers.
CONCEPT NOTE
Each sticker pairs a natural form with an element fish with water, elephant with air, lotus with space, peacock with fire, tree with water. The designs show harmony, energy, and the connection between nature and elements in a modern, expressive style.
